Ilkka Aalto-Setälä joins Geradin Partners as Partner in Helsinki
Geradin Partners is pleased to announce that Ilkka Aalto-Setälä, one of Finland’s most distinguished competition and EU law practitioners, will join the firm as a Partner elect in Helsinki, effective 7 November 2025.
Ilkka brings extensive experience in complex competition matters, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartel investigations, and state aid proceedings before both national and EU authorities. His arrival marks a significant expansion of Geradin Partners’ Helsinki presence and enhances the firm’s capability to handle high-profile litigation and regulatory mandates in Finland and across Europe.
