JUVE ranks Geradin Partners as leading antitrust practice in Germany

We are delighted that Germany’s leading legal directory JUVE has ranked Geradin Partners as a leading practice for competition law.

As a particular strength, JUVE highlights that “The law firm stands, like hardly any other, for expertise and many years of experience in connection with digital business models.” JUVE also acknowledges, the firm’s ”cartel damages cases, particularly in the automotive industry, and antitrust advice on cooperation agreements and distribution models.”

The directory lauds the team’s achievements in the CJEU and German courts: “The firm looks back on a spectacular first year in the German market. For instance, price comparison services secured nearly 600 million euros before the Berlin Regional Court – by far the highest amount a German court has ever awarded in antitrust damages [..] Beyond individual cases, Geradin’s work in numerous DMA and other antitrust complaint proceedings has quickly established the firm as the epitome of the fight against the market power of digital conglomerates.”

We are also delighted about two of our partners being listed as amongst “the leading names in competition law” in Germany.

  • Dr. Thomas Funke is recommended as leading competition lawyer over 50. According to a competitor, he is “experienced, friendly, energetic”.
  • Prof. Dr. Thomas Höppner is recommended as leading competition lawyer under 50. A competitor referred to him as “mastermind of the resistance against Big Tech”.

We are grateful to our clients and colleagues for their positive feedback and JUVE for the acknowledgment.
