Antto Jokelainen 

Economist

Biography

Antto Jokelainen is an economist at the Helsinki office of Geradin Partners. He is finalizing his PhD in economics at Aalto University. His research studies how regulation affects firm behavior and market outcomes. He has previously worked at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and at a leading economic consultancy, where his work focused on policy analysis, mergers, and IPR pricing.

Experience

In his research, Antto has studied prediction tools for cartel screening, entry regulation in the Finnish pharmacy industry, and equilibrium effects of alcohol taxation. He has teaching experience from econometrics and microeconomic theory. Antto has been a visiting scholar at New York University (2024-2025).
