Biography

Ilpo Tolonen serves as Senior Advisor at Geradin Partners in Helsinki. Additionally, he runs his own advisory business within companies serving life sciences, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industry. He has also several Board Positions due to his extensive experience in life sciences, healthcare, and pharmaceutical companies. He is passionate about promoting foreign investment in Finland and supporting Finnish companies in international expansion. He specializes in corporate leadership, strategy development, market access strategies, marketing and building successful partnerships. His broad network across both public and private sectors enables effective collaboration.

Mr. Tolonen is the former CEO, Docrates Cancer Hospital, had various roles at MSD Pharmaceuticals, in Finland, USA, and Baltic region. He has had several Board Positions in associations advocating for pharmaceutical and private healthcare interests.
