Geradin Partners, a leading European law firm specialising in competition and digital regulation, continues to expand its team with the arrival of Marie Sellier 

Paris and Brussels, 1 September 2025  

Geradin Partners is pleased to announce the arrival of Marie Sellier, an expert in public affairs and digital regulation, as Senior Advisor at its Paris office. 

Marie Sellier brings to the firm 18 years of experience in public affairs and regulation at both the French and European levels, with recognised expertise in the creative industries and digital media, acquired in particular as Director of Public Affairs at the Vivendi Group.

Firstly, her arrival strengthens our ability to advise our clients, both in France and across Europe, on complex digital regulatory issues, including the DMA, DSA and artificial intelligence, as well as on media industry regulatory issues. Secondly, Marie’s unique experience in anticipating and analysing European regulatory developments, gained during her career at Vivendi, will strengthen our ability to support our clients both in the run-up to the adoption of new regulations and in their strategies vis-à-vis the French and European regulatory authorities. Thirdly, Marie’s expertise in platform regulation and artificial intelligence will enable us to offer companies, in addition to our recognised litigation skills, an even more strategic and holistic approach that is particularly useful in these areas. 

During her 18-year career, including 10 years as Director of Public Affairs at Vivendi, Marie has been directly involved in analysing and anticipating developments in European law affecting digital media, intellectual property and the creative industries. She has led teams and driven numerous multi-stakeholder initiatives on topics as diverse as digital platform regulation, intellectual property, audiovisual media services legislation, and emerging issues in artificial intelligence and technology ethics.

About Marie Sellier  

A graduate of Sciences Po (1999) and holder of a Specialised Master’s degree in International Business Law from ESSEC (2004), Marie Sellier, who is not a member of the bar, completed her training with a TRIUM Executive MBA (2016). She began her career in telecommunications at Completel and then at Alcatel (2001-2004). She then spent most of her career at Vivendi (2005-2024), becoming Director of Public Affairs (2016-2025). She has also been Policy Advisor for the Human Artistry Campaign since July 2025, an investor in the start-up aeroscale.bike, and a member of the Franco-German High Cultural Council (HCCFA). She is recognised for her expertise in media regulation, digital platforms, and compliance in artificial intelligence.
