Biography

Jenny is a solicitor-advocate with extensive experience in competition litigation, commercial disputes, and public law. She has particular expertise in complex competition matters, including collective actions, cartel damages claims, and regulatory appeals before the UK courts. She has acted in some of the most high-profile competition disputes of the past decade.

In addition to competition litigation, Jenny advises clients on a broad range of commercial and corporate disputes. She also has expertise in using public law tools, such as judicial review, to help clients achieve strategic commercial outcomes. She has experience advising on investigations and has worked across various sectors, including financial services, energy, manufacturing, transport, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.

Before joining Geradin Partners, Jenny trained and qualified at Freshfields and worked at other leading law firms in London. She also served as a Référendaire at the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, where she was part of the team responsible for implementing collective proceedings in the UK in 2015.

  • Representing a major international bank in two multi-billion pound collective actions before the CAT concerning competition law infringements in the foreign exchange market
  • Defending a leading cosmetics company in High Court proceedings regarding the legality of its selective distribution system
  • Representing a foreign exchange business in a derivatives close-out dispute and related Commercial Court litigation
  • Advising on challenges to CMA decisions, including market investigation and merger review outcomes
  • Acting for two major energy generators in a joint appeal of an Ofgem decision on energy transmission before the CMA
  • Advising a global real estate company in a post-acquisition dispute involving antitrust, regulatory, and commercial issues
  • Defending a clinical research organisation in Commercial Court litigation concerning an allergy trial
